This was one of my uncle Tad's recipes. They're a little messy but delicious. Ingredients:
3 slices bacon, chopped |
1/2 lb butter |
2 tablespoons dijon-style mustard |
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon basil |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
2 teaspoons crushed garlic or 2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
2 tablespoons crab boil |
1 1/2 lbs large shrimp, with shells |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Over a medium high fry bacon until crisp. 3. Add the butter and all other ingredients except shrimp, simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Place shrimp in a baking dish and pour sauce over the shrimp. 5. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes stirring twice during baking process. |
