When a former boss of mine told me about this recipe all I could think was, there is no way I'm eating that. Then he brought me a sample. My wife and I have made it several times since. Trust me, it's incredible. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 small onion, sliced |
1 small sweet red pepper, sliced |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 (32 ounce) sauerkraut, drained |
1 lb kielbasa, sliced |
1/8 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/8 teaspoon soy sauce |
1/8 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
Directions:
1. Saute the onion, red pepper, and garlic with the butter. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. 3. Heat and simmer 15 - 20 minutes. |
