Taken from Nita Mehta's BBQ Cookbook. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
1/2 onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon mustard |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
3 tablespoons ketchup |
1 teaspoon chili sauce |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a sauce pan and cook onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes or until soft. 2. Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, ketchup, chili sauce and water. 3. Bring to a boil, reduce hear and simmer 8-10 minutes or until sauce reduces and thickens slightly. |
