I've had this recipe since the 70's. I don't remember the name of the publication but it came from a compilation of inexpensive recipes. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons chopped onions (chop fine) |
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 cup catsup |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1/4 cup corn syrup |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons prepared mustard |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Saute the onion is the oil until tender but not brown. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Simmer for 10 minutes. |
