Grill cooking is great during the hot summer months. Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, one inch thick |
2 teaspoons olive oil |
2 teaspoons dried oregano |
1 teaspoon black peppercorns, cracked |
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt |
Directions:
1. Slash the fat around steak at one-inch intervals. 2. Combine the olive oil, oregano, pepper and salt; rub over both sides of steak. 3. Place the steak on greased grill over medium-high heat; cover and cook, turning once, for about 15 minutes for medium-rare. 4. Transfer the steak to cutting board; tent with foil and allow to stand for 5 minutes before cutting into portions. |
