This is the best option for BBQ chicken that I have come across. I have searched high and low for BBQ sauce or ketchup without corn syrup or other allergens my daughter has with no success. Ingredients:
1 whole chicken |
15 ounces muir glen organic tomato puree |
1/2 onion, chopped |
1/4 cup white whine vinegar |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon molasses |
1/2 teaspoon sea salt |
1/4 teaspoon sweet basil |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in crock pot. 2. Combine all other ingredients and pour over chicken. 3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. |
