TOH; family favorite for fall/winter sports weekends. Ingredients:
2 whole chickens, cooked, deboned, and chopped |
1 large onion |
2 cups water |
1 1/4 cups ketchup |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (i use tabasco) |
hamburger bun |
Directions:
1. In crock pot, combine all ingredients except buns; mix well. 2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. 3. Serve on buns. 4. **We toast our hamburger buns. |
