4 -5 lbs whole chickens (cut into halves or spatchcocked) |
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce |
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to 350°F. 2. Place chicken on grill over indirect heat; cook, turning frequently until nearly done (approximately 35 minutes). 3. During the last 15 minutes, baste each side with BBQ sauce as you turn the meat. 4. Continue cooking until done (until the juices run clear or the breast meat reads 165F on a meat thermometer). |
