Great football Party Snack! Ingredients:
1.5 pounds lean ground beef |
1 package dry onion soup mix (about 2 tablespoons) |
8 slices cheddar cheese |
16 soft dinner rolls |
bbq sauce of your choice |
16 hamburger dill pickle slices |
red onion slices;thin |
16 slices cooked bacon |
Directions:
1. 1. Set the oven to 350°F. Put the ground beef and soup mix in a large (1 gallon) plastic food storage bag. Seal the bag. Squeeze the meat mixture with both hands until it is well blended. 2. 2. Empty the meat mixture onto a 13x9 stoneware baking sheet and press it evenly to the edges. Cut the meat mixture into 16 squares by cutting 3 lines down and 3 across using the edge of a rubber spatula. 3. 3. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until it is cooked through. Separate the burgers into squares. Pizza Cutter works great for this. 4. 4. Cut each cheese slice into 4 squares.. To make each burger bite, place 1 hamburger square on the bottom half of 1 dinner roll. Drizzle with BBQ sauce, 2 cheese squares,1 slice bacon a pickle slice, and red onion slices. Cover with top half of the roll. Enjoy! |
