Ingredients:
1 medium onion, finely chopped |
1 pound lump crab meat |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1/2 cup cold water |
bibb lettuce leaves |
Directions:
1. Line the bottom of a large mixing bowl with half of chopped onion. Add crab meat, and top with remaining chopped onion; sprinkle with salt and pepper. 2. Pour oil, vinegar, and water, in order, over crab meat mixture. (Do not stir.) Cover and chill 2 to 12 hours. 3. Toss lightly, and serve on individual lettuce-lined serving plates. |
