A very simple but hearty white bread for the bread machine. Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast |
2 cups bread flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon white sugar |
1 tablespoon dry milk powder |
1 tablespoon butter, softened |
3/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Medium cycle; press Start. When done, remove bread from pan and let cool on a wire rack. |
