Adapted from The Once a Week Cooking Plan by J. Hilton. You can make these with purchased popsicle molds or 8oz plastic cups and wooden sticks inserted into them. Cook time is freezing time Ingredients:
2 cups fresh strawberries (or frozen) |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding (or cheesecake, or white chocolate) |
1 3/4 cups milk |
Directions:
1. Puree strawberries with sugar and water. 2. Prepare pudding, using 1 3/4 cups of cold milk, and beat until mixture begins to get thick. 3. Fold in berry mixture. 4. Pour into molds or cups and freeze. |
