A vegetarian delight with the ease of the crock pot, you can't go wrong with this recipe! Ingredients:
1 large head red cabbage, washed and coarsely sliced |
6 tart apples, cored & quartered |
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped |
2 teaspoons salt |
3 tablespoons sugar |
2 cups hot water |
6 tablespoons butter |
2/3 cup cider vinegar |
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients into the crock pot. 2. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high 3 hours. 3. Stir well before serving. |
