Easy to make and delicious. It is very attractive and makes a nice holiday dessert. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup oleo |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup flour |
2/3 cup nuts |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese or 1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese |
1 egg |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 (15 ounce) can bartlett pears, sliced |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Made with a springform pan with bottom release. 2. Bottom Crust: Mix butter and sugar well. 3. Add vanilla, flour and nuts. 4. Press in bottom of pan; bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. 5. Set aside. 6. Filling: Add all ingredients and beat smooth, pour over crust. 7. Topping: Drain and slice each pear half into eights, place on filling. 8. Springle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
