Bavarian Pear Tart

Easy to make and delicious. It is very attractive and makes a nice holiday dessert.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup oleo
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour
2/3 cup nuts
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese or 1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (15 ounce) can bartlett pears, sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Made with a springform pan with bottom release.
2. Bottom Crust: Mix butter and sugar well.
3. Add vanilla, flour and nuts.
4. Press in bottom of pan; bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
5. Set aside.
6. Filling: Add all ingredients and beat smooth, pour over crust.
7. Topping: Drain and slice each pear half into eights, place on filling.
8. Springle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
