Forgien desert. Looks absolutely yummy. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup orange marmalade |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup coarsely chopped toasted hazelnuts |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
powdered sugar (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. 2. For Crust: In medium bowl combine flour, sugar and salt. Using pastry blender or fork cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs. 3. Press mixture into a 9-inch pan. 4. Bake at 350°F for 20-22 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack. 5. Spread marmalade on crust. 6. For filling: In a small bowl beat brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended. 7. Stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar. 8. Spoon over preserves. 9. Bake at 350°F for 25 - 30 minutes or until deep golden brown. 10. Let cool completely. 11. If using powdered sugar, sprinkle over. |
