Bavarian Hazelnut Dream Bars

Forgien desert. Looks absolutely yummy.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup coarsely chopped toasted hazelnuts
1/2 teaspoon salt
powdered sugar (optional)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. For Crust: In medium bowl combine flour, sugar and salt. Using pastry blender or fork cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Press mixture into a 9-inch pan.
4. Bake at 350°F for 20-22 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 10 minutes on wire rack.
5. Spread marmalade on crust.
6. For filling: In a small bowl beat brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended.
7. Stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar.
8. Spoon over preserves.
9. Bake at 350°F for 25 - 30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
10. Let cool completely.
11. If using powdered sugar, sprinkle over.
