Batter for Sweet and Sour Shrimp |

Easy batter to fix but be sure to let it rest before you use it. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 cup water |
1 egg, beaten |
1 tablespoon oil |
Directions:
1. Mix together and let set for 10 minutes. 2. Dip shrimp in batter and shake off excess. 3. Deep fry 350 degree F for 5-6 minutes. 4. Drain on paper towels. 5. Keep warm in 200 degree F oven until ready to serve. |
