Ingredients:
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar |
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil |
4 large shallots, minced |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1 teaspoon seasoned pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. Whisk together balsamic vinegar and next 6 ingredients in a small bowl until blended; gradually add olive oil, whisking constantly until blended. 2. Note: 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves yields about 1/2 cup chopped. |
