This is a perfect example of how you can jazz up a convenience item. Just a few fresh ingredients added to a can of tomato soup makes all of the difference. Sandra Lee would be proud. Ingredients:
1 (10 1/4 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 cup water |
fresh basil, minced, to taste |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 cup half-and-half |
1 teaspoon butter |
Directions:
1. Heat soup and broth. Add sugar and basil, reducing heat to low. Stir in half and half and butter. Heat through. |
