Spread on sandwiches, great with pasta, chicken. This makes a big batch. I buy in bulk since it is cheaper and freeze it in containers. Ingredients:
1 cup fresh basil |
2 cups olive oil |
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese |
3/4 cup pine nuts |
5 tablespoons fresh garlic |
Directions:
1. Place the Fresh basil, Pine Nuts and Fresh Garlic in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. 2. Add the Olive Oil and Parmesan cheese and pulse a few more times until everything is mixed evenly. 3. Store in containers. can stay in refrigerator for a couple week. freezer for a couple of months. |
