Basil Parmesan Pasta With Lemon Peel |

This is a real good recipe from the SLIMLINES column by Alva Carpenter, Thursday magazine. Enjoy! Ingredients:
340 g orzo pasta |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
10 g fresh basil, finely chopped |
40 g grated parmesan cheese |
1 1/2 teaspoons lemons, rind of, grated |
Directions:
1. Cook orzo in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes or until it is al dente{cooked but firm to touch}. 2. Once cooked, drain it well. 3. Remove from heat. 4. Let it stand for 5 minutes, covered. 5. Stir in the remaining ingredients and pepper. 6. Serve. 7. Enjoy! |
