Refreshing, easy and delicious! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 (8 ounce) package medium bow tie pasta |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated |
1/2 bunch basil, chopped (about 12 large leaves) |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly grated |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Cook bowties according to package directions. 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over low heat for 1 minute. 3. Add garlic and saute, stirring often, for 1 minute. 4. Remove from heat. 5. Add well drained bowties and toss well until coated with garlic/oil mixture. 6. Add lemon juice and zest, basil salt and pepper. 7. Toss untl basil wilts. 8. Top with parmesan cheese. 9. Serve. |
