If you're like me, you love corn on the cob, but hate the mess! This recipe is the best of both worlds. It's not very spicy, despite the cayenne. Ingredients:
6 earsh fresh corn on the cob |
butter |
1 bunch basil, roughly chopped |
1 tsp cayenne powder |
Directions:
1. Remove husks and silk from corn. 2. Bring water to a rolling boil, add corn. 3. Cook for 3 minutes once water has come back to a boil. 4. Remove corn from water. 5. Slice the corn off each cob. This is the tricky part, as it is still hot, try using tongs. Try to get chunks of corn, for the presentation. 6. Gently toss with basil, cayenne, and enough butter to coat. |
