A simple side dish from Better Homes and Gardens Calorie Counter's Cookbook. I haven't tried this one yet but plan to soon. Ingredients:
6 medium carrots |
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, melted |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon basil, crushed |
Directions:
1. Slice carrots. 2. Simmer, covered, in salted water until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes; drain. 3. Combine remaining ingredients; toss with carrots. |
