got this recipe in my kitchen gourmet waffle maker instruction booklet Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 egg yolks, beaten |
2 cups skim milk |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
2 egg whites, beaten until peaks are stiff |
Directions:
1. preheat waffle maker. 2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients and sugar. 3. In another bowl, mix the beaten egg yolks, skim milk, and melted butter. 4. form a hole in the middle of the dry mixture. 5. pour in the wet mixture. 6. mix just until the batter is slightly lumpy. 7. fold in the stiffened egg whites. 8. pour 2/3 cup mixture into waffle maker. 9. follow directions for waffle maker. 10. remove with a fork. |
