This is a basic oil, vinegar and herb dressing that I came up with when I was dissatisfied with the bottled organic vinaigrettes available. Great for green salads, grain salads, bean salads or cooked vegetables. Ingredients:
1 cup olive oil |
1/2 cup red wine vinegar |
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar |
2 teaspoons dijon mustard |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon dried marjoram |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic, or |
3 fresh garlic cloves (minced or pressed.) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a jar 2. Shake vigorously. 3. Store in tightly closed jar. 4. Keeps indefinitely. 5. Shake thoroughly before using. |
