I thought someone might need this recipe. I love making my own pizza dough. Ingredients:
2 (1/4-ounce) packages yeast |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 1/2 cups warm water, divided |
4 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in 1/2 cup warm water. Combine flour and salt in mixing bowl. Work yeast mixture, olive oil and 1 cup warm water into flour mixture until dough is formed. (Add a little more flour or water, if needed.) 2. Form dough into 2 balls. Cover. Let stand in a warm place for 1 hour. 3. Roll dough into thin circles. Place on greased 12- to 14-inch pizza pans. Stretch dough to cover pans. Pinch rim around edge before adding toppings. |
