Basic Pan Gravy with Turkey |

From a Mennonite cookbook ... it's for those nights when it's cold outside and you just want biscuits and gravy. I suppose you could use chipped beef, sausage or some other meat, too. Ingredients:
3 1/2 c chicken stock |
1 1/2 c 1% milk |
1/2 c ww pastry flour |
2 c cubed turkey |
Directions:
1. Heat the stock in a good size sauce pan. 2. Shake flour and milk together (or whisk it) and add to the stock. 3. Stir over medium heat until the gravy thickens. 4. Add turkey. 5. Serve over brown rice or biscuits (or toast!) |
