It's pie...for breakfast! Ingredients:
1 store-bought unbaked 9-inch pie shell |
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats |
3 eggs |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup corn syrup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add cinnamon, cloves and salt; stir in corn syrup. 3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. 4. Stir in rolled oats and pour entire mixture into the pie shell. 5. Bake for about 1 hour, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. |
