Ingredients:
12 slice(s) hearty italian bread, cut 1/4-in. thick |
3 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil |
1 clove(s) garlic, peeled |
Directions:
1. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
Place under a broiler for about 2 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
Rub one side of the toast with whole garlic clove. Before the bread cools, cut the slices in half if you are using a fat loaf of bread. The toast should be about 2-3 inches in diameter. |
