This is a basic dressing that will suit most salads. You can use any type of sour cream, yogurt, or mayonnaise to get the full effect and creaminess. Ingredients:
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil |
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar, more to taste |
3 tablespoons sour cream (see recipe description) |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1 small shallot, rough chopped |
salt & freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except shallot, in a blender and process until emulsified, about 30 seconds. 2. Taste and add more vinegar by teaspoons, if desired. 3. Add shallot and process, by turning on and off, until minced. 4. Taste and adjust seasoning. |
