This is a base that you can add or subtract from to suit your taste. Usually covers a bag of pre-cut cabbage and carrots. Ingredients:
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
2 tbsp. cider vinegar |
1 tsp. sugar |
2 tbsp. milk |
1tbsp. celery seed |
i usually add some extra grated carrot; sometimes green pepper or pineapple |
this is just a good basic dressing |
Directions:
1. Mix all together preferably in a glass container - not plastic 2. As I said add more or less sugar; add celery salt instead of celery seed; add or subtract from the vinegar but if you subtract add milk to keep up liquid level 3. Make it your own 4. Mix it at least 24 hours ahead of time and refrigerate. Stir and taste a few times in the 24 hours |
