From the bottom of a box of Christie crackers. The amount of crackers called for in this recipe is about 2 stacks or 2 single packages. Ingredients:
84 finely-crushed salted crackers (such as christie's premium plus ) |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon onion powder |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 teaspoon granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Place crushed crackers and seasonings in a plastic bag;Shake well to combine.
2. Makes 2 1/2 to 3 cups,enough to coat 6 pounds of chicken pieces.
3. Store unused portion of crumbs in airtight container in refrigerator.
