Barvarian Sauerkraut Casserole |

A variation on regular pork and sauerkraut. Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine |
1 cup chopped onion |
1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin, cut in 1 inch cubes |
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°. 2. Melt margarine in skillet over medium heat. 3. Add onion and cook until tender. Remove onions; add pork and brown well. 4. Combine onions, pork, and sauerkraut in 1 1/2 quart casserole. 5. Cover and bake for one hour. 6. When ready to serve, blend in sour cream and nutmeg. |
