Ingredients:
1 cup golden raisin
1 cup currants
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup strong hot tea
1 egg
2 cups self-rising flour
Directions:
1.
Mix first 4 ingredients together and leave in bowl overnight.

Next day add egg and self-rising flour. Mix well.
3.
Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours at 350° .
4.
Slice when cooled and spread with butter.
