Barley, Brown Rice, Wild Rice, Celery, Carrots, Onion, Tomato, Mushroom Ingredients:
1 3/5 cups barley |
17/20 cups brown rice |
7/20 cups wild rice |
1 3/4 cups chopped carrots |
1 3/4 cups chopped celery |
28 oz. stewed tomatoes |
12 oz. canned mushrooms |
10 ounces chopped chicken breast |
50 oz. water |
3 tbsp chicken bouillon |
1 1/2 tsp dry oregano |
1 1/2 tsp dry parsley |
1 1/2 tsp dry rosemary |
1 1/2 tsp dry thyme |
1 1/2 tsp dry basil |
1 1/2 tsp marjoram |
1 tbsp black pepper |
3 tbsp minced garlic |
2 tbsp dehydrated onion |
3 tbsp sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Chop all veggies to bite size pieces. 2. Combine all ingredients in stainless steel pot. 3. Bring to boil, immediately lower heat to simmer. 4. Cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. 5. Add additional water if necessary as it cooks down. 6. Turn off heat after 1 hour. 7. Let stand with lid on for about 30 minutes to allow grains to fully soak up liquid. |
