Hearty, healthy, rich in whole grain goodness. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups barley |
3/4 cups brown rice |
1/4 cups wild rice |
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots |
1 1/2 cups chopped celery |
50 ounces chicken broth |
10 ounces chopped chicken breast |
2 tbsp chicken bouillon |
1 tsp dry oregano |
1 tsp dry parsley |
1 tsp dry rosemary |
1 tsp dry thyme |
1 tsp dry basil |
1 tsp marjoram |
1 tbsp black pepper |
2 tbsp minced garlic |
2 tbsp dehydrated onion |
2 tbsp sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. chop all vegetables into pot. 2. Add remaining ingredients. 3. Bring to boil, reduce heat. 4. Simmer for 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed and grains are tender. 5. Serve hot or cold. |
