1 1/2 hour prep time if beef already cooked. Ingredients:
1/3 cup pearled barley |
1/2 cup lentils |
1/2 cup onion |
4 oz lean beef |
2 carrots |
3 cups water |
1 salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook barley- 1 hour 2. cook lentils- 1 hour 3. combine and add 1/2 cup onion chopped and 3 cups of water. 4. Cook carrots separately or add to soup after cutting into carrot coins. 5. Add 2 tsp. instant boullion. |
