This recipe is from The Doggy Bone Cookbook and is Veterinarian approved. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup cornmeal |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon honey |
3 tablespoons corn oil |
1 egg |
1/2 cup water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350*F.; Combine dry ingredients. 2. In a separate bowl, mix honey, oil, egg, water, and barbeque sauce; Add to dry ingredients. 3. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thick, cut with cookie cutter of choice. 4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes. 5. Cool on wire rack. 6. Store in airtight container. |
