My mother in law makes this at least once a year for her parties. It is always a hit. Ingredients:
2 pkgs of philadelphia cream cheese |
1 - 8 1/2 oz can of crushed pineapple (drained) |
1/2 cup of chopped green pepper |
1/4 cup of chopped onion |
1/2 tsp of lawry's season salt |
2 cups of chopped nuts (optional) i never use |
Directions:
1. Mix all above ingredients together and refrigerate 2 hours before serving. 2. Serve with crackers. 3. You can make this into a cheese ball form also with tin foil. 4. ** we use 1/3 fat cream cheese and usually sundried tomato basil crackers. Yum! But you can serve it with whatever cracker you wish. |
