BARBEQUE MUNCH MIX This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hoffman Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1 cup cheerios |
1 cup shredded wheat |
1 cup corn chex |
1 cup miniature pretzels |
1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1 tablespoon soft butter |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon ground oregano |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
1/2 cup corn nuggets |
1 cup sesame sticks |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. 2. Combine cereals, pretzels, nuts and seeds in a large bowl. 3. Melt butter then mix butter Worcestershire, chili powder, oregano, paprika and Tabasco. 4. Pour sauce over cereal mixture and toss until well mixed. 5. Spread on cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes until toasted stirring twice. 6. Let cool then toss with corn nuggets and sesame sticks. |
