BARBEQUE MARINATED BRIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cox Estate in Ida, Oklahoma in 1994. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1/2 red pepper finely chopped |
1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped |
1/2 cup garlic minced |
1 teaspoon spicy mustard |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
18 ounces brie |
crackers |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cheese and crackers then mix well. 2. Place cheese wheel in small shallow glass dish and poke full of holes with a fork. 3. Pour marinade over cheese then cover and let sit in refrigerator at least 2 hours. 4. Preheat barbeque to medium then place foil on grill and poke holes in foil with a skewer. 5. Place cheese on foil then heat for 15 minutes. 6. Serve warm with crackers or French bread. |
