This is just a basic spice rub but it has no sweetness I love to add brown sugar and maple syrup. Ingredients:
3 teaspoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon seasoning salt |
2 teaspoons paprika |
2 teaspoons black pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and rub generously on brisket, wrap in foil and refrigerate 3 days. Remove from foil and bake at 325-350 for about 2 1/2 hours. |
