A great hearty rendition of baked beans. Absolutely awesome! Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef, cooked and drained |
1 lb bacon, cooked crisp |
1 onion, finely chopped |
1/2 cup catsup |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce (mesquite or cajun style) |
1 (16 ounce) can dark red kidney beans, drained |
1 (24 ounce) can pork & beans, drained |
1 (16 ounce) can california large lima beans |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup prepared mustard |
1/4 cup molasses |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients except for beans. 2. Stir well and then add beans to meat. 3. Put in a large greased casserole dish. 4. Bake covered at 350 degrees for one hour. |
