Great served on buns, or over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil |
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup diced celery |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup water |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
Directions:
1. Brown beef in oil in saucepan, and drain. 2. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. 3. Cover, and cook on low 6-8 hours, or on hogh 3-4 hours. 4. Serve on buns, or over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice. |
