You won't be sorry if you try these. The recipe is from the country register, a paper put out by tourism here in Manitoba. I made these yesterday, and the sauce is wonderful. Hope you try them. Ingredients:
4 lbs spareribs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 crushed garlic cloves |
1 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup chili sauce |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon prepared mustard |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons steak sauce, i used hp steak sauce |
1 cup honey |
Directions:
1. Cut spareribs into serving size pieces. Put into large saucepan. 2. Add 1 tsp salt and enough boiling water to cover. Cover and simmer for 30 minute. 3. Combine all remaining ingredients in roaster and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 10 minute 4. Remove spareribs from water and mix into sauce. 5. Cover and bake at 400°F for 45 to 50 minute. |
