This recipe comes from an old cook book from a church in North Carolina. Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes |
3 tablespoons bacon drippings |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 cups water |
3/4 cup barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup ketchup |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut potatoes into quarters. 2. Cook in water, salt and bacon drippings until tender. 3. Pour off half of the water and add sauce made of barbecue sauce, kethcup and red pepper. 4. Simmer slowly for 20 minutes. |
