I adapted this recipe from an australian magazine, but I cannot remember the name Ingredients:
2 cups rice |
12 chicken wings |
1/4 cup barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup plum sauce |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1/4 glass white wine |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to hot. 2. cook rice in a large saucepan of boiling salted water, uncovered until tender. 3. set aside. 4. cut wings tips, and then half the wings. 5. combine sauces in a large bowl, add the chopped garlic and wine and season. 6. add the wings, toss to coat. 7. Place the chicken, in a single layer, in an ovenproof dish, roast uncovered about 20/25 min or until thoroughly cooked. 8. serve with the cooked rice. |
