This is a no rules recipe - add or omit ingredients as you please. Ingredients:
1 can no-added-salt tomato paste (6 oz.) |
8 ounces water |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons low-sodium worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon dry mustard |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
2 tablespoons sugar (or equivalent artificial sweetener) |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons no-salt-added ketchup |
1/3 cup blackstrap molasses |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
tabasco sauce |
1 teaspoon liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. In a blender or food processor, thoroughly mix the sauce ingredients. 2. Taste sauce; add chili powder and/or Tabasco for hotter sauce. 3. Refrigerate. |
