You can use pork steaks or pork chops in this recipe and both turn out great. Ingredients:
6 pork steaks |
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon accent seasoning |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/2 cups ketchup |
1 1/2 cups vinegar |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning |
2 large onions, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. In a 6 quart slow cooker. 2. Brown steaks lightly in a skillet coated with vegetable oil. 3. Mix salt, pepper and accent and coat both sides of pork steaks with spices and place in slow cooker. 4. In a medium mixing bowl, combine rest of the ingredients and add to slow cooker. 5. Cook on Low for 8 to 9 hours. |
