The title of the recipe refers to the flavour, not the cooking method. This sauce is also fantastic over chicken. Ingredients:
4 pork chops |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon mustard |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons soya sauce |
Directions:
1. Brown pork chops and fry onion and celery. Put in casserole dish. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Bake at 350F for approximately 1 hour. |
